83. Stay at the Midland Hotel Morecombe





In its heyday the Art Deco masterpiece Midland Hotel in Morecambe was frequented by the likes of Coco Chanel and Ivor Norvello but over the years, like Morecambe itself, its glamour faded and it was forgotten. However it has been restored to its former glory by Urban Splash and is ready for glamourous visiters once more. And if they're going why can't I? This is one of my 'romantic weekend with Jo' choices. A day by the seaside. A raspberry ripple with a flake in it. A walk along the promanade. Then a meal in the hotel looking out to sea.
