This is another 'local' choice. Fitzpatrick's is the oldest surviving temperance bar in Britain. Since 1890 it has been offering delicious alternatives to the evil of alcohol.I want to sample their award winning Sarsaparilla, and their Dandelion and Burdock.
And then maybe go to the pub?

As well as their fine cordials (try the Blood Tonic, it's supposed to be good for the joints), they also sell golliwogs in here. Actual golliwog dolls. Still worth going though.
ReplyDeleteGolliwogs eh? That is not good. I may go and enjoy their drinks and when leaving say loudly "such a pity they are all racists and we can never go back again" and try to shame them into changing their stock.
ReplyDeleteI imagine it won't work...
